It’s 2021 and we are back and raring to go! There is no doubt that we were all glad to see the end of 2020 and we are looking forward to a safer and less restricted year this year!
In 2020, people came to realise the importance of the transport industry and the teams that keep it running so smoothly. There were challenges aplenty for us this year with the situation changing on almost a daily basis. The need to make sure our staff were safe was paramount and we made many changes to ensure that happened, from home working, to screens to PPE and lorry safety kits so our drivers felt protected.
We worked with our customers to adapt the their ever changing requirements and Health and Safety protocols and we made sure our staff were well informed of these so impact on service was kept to a minimum.
We opened up further lines of communication from Facebook Messenger to Google Messages to What’s app so we can be contacted easily, allowing customers to be sure they can always get a message to us if they need to.
Put simply, we adapted. We changed what we needed to and we maintained our excellent levels of customer service throughout. We didn’t say ‘We can’t make that happen’, we said ‘How can we make that happen?’ We were able to do this because we are a fantastic team. We work together to get things done and we support each other in doing it.
