The DVSA says on its website ‘Hauling heavy goods is a serious responsibility and if it goes wrong, it can have serious consequences, that can and has ended in the loss of life.’
A few simple steps before you embark on your journey can help prevent this. All our drivers are knowledgeable about the dangers of an unsteady load and how important it is to ensure it is safely and properly strapped down, no matter how short the journey. Loads are periodcally checked by management to ensure good practice.
